"Acupuncture with Tess has helped me immensely — I highly recommend her. I am amazed how quickly a few symptoms I've had for years have either resolved or have noticeably eased with acupuncture. I feel fortunate to have found her! She is a gem." - J.B.

"Wonderful experience with Tess!! I've had others before, Tess was best yet! She's a true artist. Unbelievable relaxation plus I feel way looser. She really tailored it to my needs. I'll be back again and again." - N.K.

Ways we can work together.

Practitioner applying a silicone cup to a client's back during a bodywork session, with two more cups already placed.
EASTERN MASSAGE cupping | tuina | gua sha | acupressure

Hands-on care rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), without needles.

Bodywork sessions draw on TCM techniques such as tuina massage, acupressure, cupping, and gua sha to support your body's natural balance. Working along the meridian pathways as well as the specific areas that feel tight or sore, each session is shaped around what you need on the day. Can be helpful for general relaxation, muscle tension relief, or rebalancing when your energy that just feels off.

Works equally well as a standalone bodywork session or as a complement to acupuncture.

ACUPUNCTURE & TCM

Rooted in thousands of years of traditional practice, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), of which acupuncture is a part, is a holistic healthcare framework.

In my practice, acupuncture forms the foundation of care. Depending on your individual needs, sessions may also include manual techniques (cupping, gua sha, tuina massage), moxibustion, ear-seeds, and self-care advice grounded in TCM theory.

I will recommend a personalised treatment plan based on your individual goals.

How Acupuncture Can Help

The Traditional Chinese Medicine system (TCM), of which acupuncture is a part, offers dedicated support for physical comfort, deep relaxation, and overall well-being. According to TCM theory, physical symptoms, difficulty regulating emotions, or even just a feeling of being off is a sign that your body’s vital energy (or "Qi") is blocked or out of balance. Acupuncture uses fine, gentle needles at specific points to help unblock this energy and restore a smooth, steady flow throughout your system.

Living with a long-term or complex condition?

Alongside my professional training, I draw on my own journey with chronic pain: the fatigue, the flare-ups, the frustration of being told to "just learn to live with it", to provide compassionate whole person care. Every session is tailored to how you feel on a given day, gently balancing your internal systems to ease physical discomfort and foster a deep sense of mental calm, helping you feel grounded and well-supported in your day-to-day life.

Holistic Well-Being & Balance

Finding Ease: Acupuncture point selection and manual therapies are carefully selected to foster deep relaxation of body and mind — helping you feel more comfortable, calm, and balanced as part of a healthy lifestyle.

Energy & Daily Vitality: By encouraging deep physical rest, regular sessions help refresh your system so you feel more revitalised and ready for your life.

Pain Management

Acupuncture is an effective treatment option for the management of pain, such as:

  • Tension-type headaches and migraines

  • Low back pain, sciatica, and neck pain

  • Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) pain

  • Knee pain caused by osteoarthritis

Complementary therapies such as acupuncture are designed to support your overall well-being and work alongside conventional healthcare. Acupuncture and TCM are not designed to replace medical diagnosis or treatment. Please consult your GP for all new medical concerns.
